Pastoral Care

Walking Together Through Every Season

At Fairmont Christian Assembly, being a family means being there for each other when it matters most. Pastoral care is simply our way of showing God’s love in practical, personal ways. Whether you are celebrating a mountain-top moment or walking through a dark valley, your church family is here to support, listen, and encourage you.

Why We Care for One Another

We follow the example of Jesus, who cared for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. For us, pastoral care isn’t just a “job” for a few people; it is a commitment we all make to look out for our neighbors.

How We Support Our Family

Our care for the community takes many forms, all centered on sincerity and the love of Christ.

Personal Encouragement

We take the time for one-on-one conversations to offer comfort and spiritual guidance. If you are feeling overwhelmed or seeking direction, we are here to open the Bible with you and find hope together.

Hospital and Home Visits

When health challenges or age make it difficult to gather at the assembly, we bring the community to you. We regularly visit those in the hospital or at home to pray, share a word of encouragement, and let them know they are deeply missed and loved.

Support in Times of Loss

During seasons of grief, we stand by our family members. We provide a space for healing, prayer, and the practical help needed to navigate the hardest days of life.

Reach Out to Us

You don’t have to wait for a crisis to ask for support. Whether you have a question, a burden on your heart, or just need to know someone cares, our doors are always open. We are a family that grows stronger when we carry each other’s burdens. Come find a community that truly cares for you.

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
